Mumbai Police Found A Unique Way To Spread Awareness

At social media, Mumbai Police are striking the right chord. The force is showing that how spreading the message is possible by using the right phrase. Understandably, it got a creative social media team which is coming up with innovative ideas.

To assure the residents of the city, Mumbai Police recently used a creative image, in which it shows itself between residents and the trouble. In this representative image, Mumbai Police portrayed itself a strong entity. And the tagline reads as “No matter whatever the shape of trouble, we will protect you.” This image and the message caught the attention of the public so much that management of the Mumbai Police’s official Twitter handles received praise from them. Another person penned that “Your team managing twitter has got us to not just to like you but also trust you more”. Some called it Genius and other said that Mumbai Police has style. Some say that We Love Mumbai Police.

Mumbai Police did one more very interesting thing. They got kids for spreading the social messages. A small child was shown as very astonished and the tagline reads as he was shocked to know that he jumped the red light. A hashtag was ChildKnowitTheBest and message was A fine driver or a fined driver, Your choice. Using this idea, Mumbai Police run campaigns on road safety and traffic rules.

Rising cybercrime is another major concern, in which Mumbai Police used creativity. A child’s peculiar image was used as if he was asking someone about his passwords. And the child was looking amazed to know that password was a weak one. He was saying that “You mean to tell me that your password is your dog’s name?.” By this message, Mumbai Police tried to raise concerns about weak passwords and it encouraged people to use strong passwords to avoid cyber-criminals. On weak passwords, Mumbai Police used a satirical statement that “Possibly a kid could have guessed that”. Similarly, Joint Commissioner of Police (law and order) Deven Bharti also raised this issue. Highlighting a report which claimed that ‘There are 1.9 billion stolen passwords and usernames available on the black market’, he was also advocating strong passwords. The response was so overwhelming that the Commissioner of Mumbai Police, D.D.Padsalgikar met its social media team and praised them for their innovative and creative ideas.
