RPF constable kills ASI, three other passengers in Jaipur-Mumbai train

A Railway Police Force constable fired four bullets at assistant sub-inspector and also shot dead three other passengers in anger for not getting leave approved by his senior.
The RPF constable was identified as Chetan Singh who first shot four bullets on ASI Tikaram Meena (57) and then fired at three passengers in the train identified as Abdul Kaderbhai Bhanpurwala, Sadar Mohammed Hussain and Asghar Abbas Shaikh.
The police informed that Chetan Singh was unwell due to which he wanted to be relieved from duty few hours before his shift ended but as his seniors insisted on completing his duty, it agitated him following which he shot Meena and three other passengers in the speeding train.
While the authorities claimed he was angry for not getting relieved from duty before shift ends, reports emerged that Meena and Singh had a banter over communities and after shooting Meena he shot three Muslim passengers in the train.
The officials added that while Meena was insisting that he completed his duty as Mumbai was only 2-3 hours away, Singh wanted to get dropped at Valsad station as he wasn't feeling well. Meena informed Mumbai Central control room who instead asked him to convince him. The ASI had even called their Assistant Security Commissioner Sujit Kumar and even he tried to make him understand but Singh was not ready to listen to anyone.
They were accompanied by another RPF constable Ameya Acharya who gave his statements to police corroborating the same. Later Meena asked Acharya to get a cold drink for him and requested Singh to take rest for some time. when Acharya was seated next to Singh, he suddenly got up and forcefully took the rifle from him. Acharya along with other RPF men chased him and took custody of his rifle. Singh then took his own rifle while he was being asked to calm down.
As he was leaving, Acharya noticed that Singh was removing the safety catch of his rifle following which he informed Meena and they subsequently asked him to calm down yet he shot at Meena when Acharya went away from that coach to hide himself.
The train had stopped between Mira Road and Dahisar railway station when Acharya rushed back to the coach they saw he not only killed Meena and three passengers.
The RPF then arrested Singh and seized his rifle. The videos of the incident went viral on social media where Singh was heard making controversial statements. He was hard saying, “Agar vote dena hai, Hindustan mei rahna hai, to Modi aur Yogi… Yahi do hai (If you want to stay in Hindustan, vote for Yogi (UP chief minister) & Modi (Prime Minister).”
