New Delhi, January 13
Two persons died and one was injured when an SUV allegedly hit a divider and crashed into two vehicles on the opposite lane on the Noida Link Road. The SUV driver who has been absconding since the accidentA.
The police received a complaint from Aakash Basisea, he was traveling from Noida to Delhi in his Maruti Baleno when a black Mahindra Bolero, coming from the opposite direction, rammed into a divider and then hit his car before crashing into a taxi that had three people onboard.
The taxi driver was identified as Arjun Singh Solanki who died on the spot. A female passenger, Suman Dhoopra, died on the spot while another passenger, Sanjeev Dhoopra (Suman’s husband) was severely injured.
The couple was rushed to Kailash Hospital in Sector 27 in Noida where Suman was declared dead.
The police have launched a manhunt to trace the driver of the Mahindra Bolero who fled the scene following the crash.
