Two businessmen in Delhi receive extortion calls, Special Cell to probe

One businessmen from Greater Kailash has received extortion call for Rs. 5 crores while another from Sainik Farm also received extortion call for same amount

New Delhi, September 23

Two businessmen from Delhi allegedly received threatening calls from the gangs of Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara.

The businessmen said they would be killed if they did not pay the extortion amount of Rs 5 crore each demanded by the gangsters.

The police stated that a song producer, Aman Batra of Greater Kailash, claimed he received a ransom call of Rs 5 crore from a henchman of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. 

Similarly, a builder from Sainik Farms also received a call from Rohit Godara and demanded Rs 5 crore from him. Rohit Godara warned of consequences if he did not pay. 

The Special Cell hs ben asked to probe these cases. 

Only two days ago,  ym owner Nadir Shah (35) from Greater Kailash was shot dead. Some unknown approached him and fired indiscriminately at him. 

The police fund that 11 rounds were fired at him adhe was found with eight in his body. Shah has a historysheet of criminal cases against him. 

Gangster Rohit Godara claimed the responsibility of the shooting. Claimed to be living in US, he is a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
