UK student driving a Lambhorgini hits two men in an autorickshaw in CR Park of South Delhi

New Delhi, June 26

A student from United Kingdom and a native of Delhi rammed into two men in an autorrickshaw at Savitri flyover in South Delhi’s CR Park with his Lamborghini car. 

The accused was identified as Rajveer Sardana (21), who was returning from a party in Nehru Place. He is a student at a university in the UK and his family lives in Panchsheel Enclave.

The injured men have been identified as auto-driver Shah Alam and Prince Gautam (31), an engineer with an airline in Delhi. Gautam had boarded the auto to go to his office at IGI Airport.

The police were called through the PCR call; when the police reached there, the injured persons had already been rushed to Max Hospital in Saket. The police found the SUV and auto rickshaw both in damaged conditions. 

The accused was arrested and booked under IPC sections 279 (rash driving), 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life) and 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life). He was later released, 

The police are yet to conduct a medical examination of Sardana and his friends.
