Young NEET aspirant dies by suicide in Kota

Roshan (23) from Delhi was preparing for NEET and was staying in the Naya Nohra area of Kota; he was scheduled to appear in NEET exam on May 4

New Delhi, April 25

A 23-year-old NEET aspirant from Delhi died by suicide in Kota of Rajasthan. 

The police have identified the victim as Roshan Sharma who was found in the bushes in the Benchmark area of Kota. He died by consuming poison. 

Roshan was preparing for NEET and was staying in the Naya Nohra area. The next NEET exam is scheduled on May 4, 2025.

The police stated that no suicide was found at the spot except a mobile phone through which police informed his family members of the incident. 

The family members informed police that Roshan had denied giving NEET exams and also refused to come back to Delhi and would consume poison to end his life.

The police stated that the body has been kept in the mortuary of the MBS Hospital here, and the post-mortem would be conducted after the arrival of his parents from Delhi.
