The Delhi Police South District traced a teenage girl from Agra who had gone missing two days ago. The Delhi Police and GRP Agra rescued the girl and brought her back to Delhi.
As per the case details, a woman lodged a complaint with Malviya Nagar regarding missing of her daughter aged 16 years on March 14.
The officials said that a team was constituted to trace the girl. The team collected the CCTV footage of vicinity where the missing girl was lastly seen. The police started gathering details about the missing girl from her parents. The police questioned the school friends of the girl to get any clue. The police team worked relentlessly and geared up its resources.
The officials added that the investigators started working on each and every available aspect.
The police officials further said that through surveillance and technical analysis, the team succeeded in tracing the location of the missing girl which was found in a train. Thereafter, the train timings were examined and it revealed that the girl was traveling in a Puri Express which is moving near Mathura and the next stoppage was at Agra.
The police immediately contacted GRP Agra Junction Railway Station and shared all the details including the location of the missing Girl. On the basis of information, the GRP Staff of Agra Railway Station team succeeded in tracing the girl.
The police personnel from Malviya Nagar rushed to Agra railway station and brought the girl in Delhi. The girl was counseled and reunited with her family as per procedure, police added.
