Several museums in Delhi received a bomb threat through an email

New Delhi, June 13

Several museums in Delhi received a bomb threat that turned out to be a hoax. The museums including the railway museums had received email on bomb threat.

The police teams and bomb disposal squads reached the spot and found nothing at the museums.

An investigation into the bomb threat email was initiated after the police registered a case.

This comes days after several schools and hospitals in Delhi received bomb threat emails, which later turned out to be hoaxes.

Two days ago, the Delhi Police arrested 1 13-year-old boy from Meerut for allegedly sending an email to the Delhi airport, falsely claiming that a bomb had been planted on a Toronto-bound Air Canada flight. The boy had sent the email "just for fun" to check whether it could be traced back to him or not.
