Agra man assaulted and buries alive, rescued by stray dogs

Stray dogs dug up the area where he was buried and started biting flesh, causing him to regain consciousness

New Delhi, August 2

A man in Agra  was  allegedly assaulted and buried alive by four men in connection with a land dispute. He was miraculously rescued after stray dogs dug him up.

The police have identified him as Roop Kishore who was assaulted by four men, identified as Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash on July 18 in Agra's Artoni area. The accused also strangled him and then buried him in their farm, assuming that he had died.

The stray dogs dug up the area where he was buried and started biting his exposed flesh, causing him to regain consciousness. After that, he walked to a nearby village, where locals identified him and rushed him to a hospital. He is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

The police rushed to the spot and inspected his house. His mother, the accused forcibly took her son from home and brutally assaulted and strangled him and buried Kishore in a ditch on their farm.

The four accused are on the run while police have formed teams to trace them.
