PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the three-day All-India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police in Bhubaneswar from November 28-30. The DG-IG Conference is held every year where the police chiefs of all states, UT, central police agencies and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) attend.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval will attend also grace the DG-IG conference.
The DG-IG meet will discuss cyber frauds, challenges posed by AI tools such as ChatGPT, latest threats of drone and counter terrorism are among the issues to be discussed.
The meet is scheduled to discuss policing and internal security issues including cyber crime, technology in policing, counter terrorism challenges, LWE, and prison reforms.
The discussions will be held on counter terrorism, emerging trends in militancy and hybrid militancy in J&K, Khalistan communication and logistics network, role of virtual assets, dark web in terror financing, drug trafficking, and the role of cryptocurrency in counter terrorism.
