New Delhi, November 9
A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured as Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing at the international border in the Ramgarh sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The injured BSF personnel has been identified as Havildar Lal Karn.
The BSF confirmed the ceasefire violation in Samba district by Pakistan. The BSF retaliated the firing with firing from this side.
The BSF informed that the Pakistani Rangers at Ashraf Post started firing at BSF’s Naryanpur border outpost around 12.20 am.
The Rangers have started resorting to unprovoked firing along the international border after nearly a year of ceasefire between the two sides. Earlier last month, two BSF personnel were injured in Pakistan firing at Mukesh Post in the Arnia sector.
In the previous incident of unprovoked fring, a civilian was also injured in the incident in the border village.
