CBI arrests an Inspector of RPF in bribery case at UP
RPF Inspector demanded bribe for issuing railway memo regarding death of his brother in a railway accident near Mankapur railway station
New Delhi, March 3
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested accused Inspector of RPF in Gonda, (UP) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant.
A case was registered by CBI against said accused on allegations that accused demanded a bribe of Rs. 5,000/- from complainant for issuing railway memo regarding death of his brother in a railway accident near Mankapur Railway Station. The demand of bribe was later raised by the accused to Rs. 15,000.
CBI laid a trap and caught accused Inspector of RPF red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.15,000 from the complainant.
