New Delhi, June 22

The Central Industrial Security force (CISF) caught a young man at the IGI airport for disguising as a senior citizen.

Guru Sewak Singh, 24, was caught by CISF at Terminal-3 of the IGI airport. He has been handed over to the Delhi Police.

The CISF stated that during security check, Singh produced his identity in the form of a passport bearing the name Rashvindar Singh Sahota, 67. He was supposed to board an Air Canada flight flying out of Delhi. However, the CISF officials found his activities suspicious as his voice and skin did not match his age mentioned in the passport.

The officials added that the man's appearance, voice and skin texture seemed significantly younger than the details provided in the passport. A closer observation revealed that he had dyed his hair and beard white and was wearing glasses to appear older.

The officials also found a photo of his real passport on his phone, which mentioned that he was aged 24. Singh was handed over to Delhi Police along with his belongings for legal action in the matter, added CISF.
