Death threat for CM Rekha Gupta sent on Ghaziabad PCR number

New Delhi, June 7

A death threat to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was made via a call to the Ghaziabad Police Control Room (PCR). 

The Ghaziabad police immediately informed Delhi Control Room. 

The police stated that they received a call on the 112 control room number around midnight between June 5-6. The caller stated that the Chief Minister of Delhi would be killed. 

The Delhi Police increased the chief minister’s security detail and security outside her residence in Northwest Delhi.. 

The Delhi Police has accorded ‘Z’ category security cover to Gupta. 

The police are racing the caller who switched off the phone after making a threat call.
