Delhi Police conducts mock drill at Sarai Rohilla railway station

In the run-up to the Republic Day Celebration-2023 and G-20 meetings in the year-2023, the security setup and vigil has been bolstered in the area.
An Anti-Terror Mock Drill was conducted at outside Sarai Rohilla Railway Station.
The ticket reservation complex of the Sarai Rohilla Railway Station on Old Rohtak Road side was attacked by 4 terrorists who held some people hostage and demanded for release of their associates from Tihar Jail and also demanded a helicopter for their rescue.
Immediately at PCR call, all stake holders rushed towards the spot local police of PS Sarai Rohilla, PS Sarai Rohilla Railway Station, PS Gulabi Bagh, Special Staff North, Commando team North District, RPF, GRP, Delhi Fire Service, DDMA, CATS Ambulance, BDT, BDS and SWAT team of Delhi Police.
Logistic Van with Anti-Riot Equipment and QRT Team also rushed to the spot with commandos.
DCP (North) Sagar Kalsi stated that the motive of the Mock Drill was to check the alertness, preparedness, response time, and coordination of different agencies in the time of any eventuality.
Two injured persons were taken to hospital by PCR Van within time. The area was cordoned and public persons were removed from the spot. With the help of technical surveillance, a close watch was maintained on the terrorist and with the response of SWAT Commandos, the drill was concluded with the catch of all the four terrorists and rescuing all the four hostages. All the staff reached well in time with requisite equipment during mock drill.
