Delhi police from Burari police station aided 85 oxygen cylinders to government hospital

New Delhi, April 26

The Delhi Police from Burari police station supplied 85 bottles of oxygen at Burari government hospital that reported acute shortage of oxygen supply.

The police stated that an intimation regarding acute shortage of oxygen supply in Burari government hospital was received. There were hundreds of patients getting treatment for COVID-19 in the hospital, out of which many of them were on ventilator.  All the patients were on oxygen support.

The oxygen suppliers were liaised and the possibilities of making available the required oxygen were explored. A team led by Inspector Ashok left to Pooth Khurd, Kanjhawla oxygen refilling plant along with a vehicle carrying 85 empty oxygen cylinders.

The team worked by creating Green Corridor escorted 85 refilled oxygen cylinders back to the hospital and delivered the same at around 5:30 AM.
