Continuing crackdown on fraudulent agents, the Delhi Police through its IGI unit arrested two fraudster agents from Delhi
The accused were identified as Udaypal Singh alias Raja alias Sonu from Vikaspuri Extension, Chander Vihar, Delhi, Age 42 years and Tajinder alias Sweety from Rani Bagh, Delhi Age 51 years,
The police found them involved in arranging fake Poland visas on the passports of the two pax for their journey to Poland.
The police said that two Indian male pax namely Saurav Kumar from. Baghpat, UP Age 25 years & Sumit Kumar also from Baghpat, UP Age 27 years holding passports arrived at IGI Airport from Dubai as a deportee. On scrutiny of deportation & travel documents, fake Poland visas were found affixed to the passports of both pax.
DCP (IGI) Usha Rangnani said that the duo disclosed that some of their friends had gone abroad for a better livelihood so they also decided to go to any foreign country to earn quick money. Thereafter they came into contact with one agent namely Param who assured them to arrange their journey to Poland via Dubai with the help of his associates, in lieu of Rs 10 lakhs.
The accused persons further disclosed that they had deposited Rs 28,000 & Rs 1 lakh in a bank account provided by the agent and the rest of the amount was given in cash. The agent also promised them to arrange their job after reaching there. The pax also revealed that they had given their passports to the agent and the agent arranged Poland visas and tickets for their journey. They departed from IGI Airport to Poland via Dubai but their entry was denied at Dubai airport because of the fake visas and both were deported back to India.
During the course of further investigation, agent Paramjeet Singh from Ropad, Punjab, Age 26 years was arrested from Delhi in the case. Paramjeet Singh, the name of two associates namely Udaypal and Tajender was surfaced who were found actively involved in this case.
During sustained interrogation, the accused, Udaypal Singh, admitted his involvement in the case. He revealed that he had completed up to the 12th grade and had been working at a printing press in Narayana for several years, where he developed skills in printing. Subsequently, he started his own printing company in the name of “APSO & Trikul Enterprises,” at his home. However, he struggled financially and found it difficult to make a living. While working, he came into contact with some agents who were involved in duping people by offering fake visas to send them abroad. Thereafter, he started working with them seeking quick and easy money.
The accused further disclosed that he used to produce fake visas at his printing company based on orders from the agents. He also revealed that both pax had approached agent Paramjeet for arranging their traveling abroad who assured them to arrange their journey to Poland in lieu of Rs 10 lakhs. The agent Paramjeet then took the promised amount and contacted his associate, Tajender, to arrange fake Poland visas. Tajender, in turn, reached out to him to create these counterfeit visas. The accused confirmed that he produced the fake Poland visas at his printing company and provided the same to Tajender, officials further added.
