Former US Prez Donald Trump's rally witnesses security breach

An unidentified man stormed into the media gallery but was surrounded by police in time

New Delhi, August 31

Another security breach was witnessed in former former US President Donald Trump's rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

As per the reports, an unidentified man stormed into the media gallery. The man was immediately surrounded by police.

The man jumped over a bicycle rack ringing the media area and began climbing the stage where television reporters and cameras were stationed. He was brought down and subdued with a taser before being escorted out.

The incident happened as the Republican presidential nominee accused media outlets of "unfavourable coverage" and attacked CNN over its recent interview with his Democratic rival Kamala Harris.

Minutes later, another person in the crowd was handcuffed and taken out of the arena during the event, which was hosted by the far-right group 'Moms for Liberty'.

The incident comes weeks after Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. A bullet grazed Trump's ear even as one person died in the incident, prompting tightening of security at political events ahead of the US polls.
