New Delhi, July 24
Series of housebreaking incident were reported in Noida in just 24 hours where robbers not only stole valuable worth lakhs from each house but also cooked pakoras and ate when they were hungry.
The homes were found robbed of cash, electronics, valuables while eatables form the fridge were missing and some kitchens found dirty with pakoras cooked and paan spat in the corners of the house.
Six to seven same cases have been reported from Janta Flat in Noida’s Sector 87. Out of all the cases, the housebreak at Shriram Tripathi's house in Sector 82 was found most bizzare, police added.
Tripathis lost cash, jewellery, and valuables worth at least Rs 40 lakh. The gang targeted Tripathi’s house while he was in Madhya Pradesh with his family. The thieves first broke the lock of the house easily using sophisticated tools that do not make any sound while operating. During the theft, they prepared pakoras at Shriram's house and fled with the stolen goods.
Noida police have formed several teams to identity and nab the gang.
