Instagram influencer Simran Singh dies by suicide in Gurugram
The Instagram profile of Simran had 6,96,000 followers and was known as ‘Jammu Ki Dhadkan’
New Delhi, December 27
Simran Singh, a popular freelance radio jockey (RJ) and influencer from Jammu and Kashmir allegedly died by suicide at her home in Sector 47 of Gurugram.
The police said that Simran Singh (25) was found hanging in her room however no suicide note was found.
Simran’s friend staying with her in the same house raised an alarm and called police. A police team reached the spot and found Simran’s room locked from inside. The team broke open the door of the room and found her hanging.
She was taken to a private hospital and was declared dead on arrival, police added.
The Instagram profile of Simran, who had 6,96,000 followers and was known as ‘Jammu Ki Dhadkan’, shows she last posted a reel on December 13.
The police further stated that they have so far not registered a case as no foulplay was found or a suicide note. Her body was handed over to her family.
