Nagpur police books CA and his girlfriend for alleged obscene acts in a car
The accused was seen driving the car with his girlfriend who got into the driving seat later and allegedly got into obscene acts
New Delhi, July 18
The Nagpur Police have registered a case against a young Chartered Accountant and his girlfriend after a video showing them moving around in a car while in an obscene position went viral on social media.
The accused was identified as Suraj Rajkumar Soni, who was driving the car, his girlfriend got into the driving seat and allegedly started performing obscene acts.
The video was shot by a passerby when the couple was driving in the Dharampeth area. The video went viral on social media later.
The police took cognisance of the matter and traced the car's owner with the help of its number.
The police have booked the couple under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 296 (obscenity), 281 (rash driving), and 293 (nuisance in a public place) in addition to the Motor Vehicles Act and Maharashtra Police Act.
