NIA conducts searches in west Bengal in connection with FICN seizure of Kolkata

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted in West Bengal in Case of Seizure of FICN at Kolkata.
The conducted searches at two locations in Golabgunj and Sultangunj in Kaliachak in Malda district.
This case relates to recovery of High Quality FICN having face value of Rs. 3,46,000/- from the possession of two accused identified as Senaul Sk and Akramul Samsuddin both from Malda.
The duo were arrested near Calcutta Sports Journalists' Club, Maidan Tent, Kolkata.
The case was initially registered by Special Task Force of Kolkata Police later and re-registered by NIA in March 2020.
During the searches conducted, digital devices including mobile phone, SIMs and other incriminating materials/documents etc. have been seized, officials said.
The NIA is further investigating the case.
