NIA declares cash rewards on 10 terrorist wanted in attack on convoy of Assam Rifles

New Delhi, January 6

The NIA declared cash rewards against ten terrorists wanted in the case of ambush on the convoy of Assam Rifles in November.

The attack resulted in death of five Assam Rifles personnel including commanding officer, his family members and injuries to six Assam Rifles personnel.

The NIA had registered a case under sections 121, 121A, 302, 307, 326 and 34 of IPC, Sections 10 and 20 of UA(P) Act, Section 25(1C) of Arms Act and Section 5 of Explosive Substances Act.

Ten terrorists of PLA and MNPF are wanted by the National Investigation Agency in connection with attack on the convoy of CO of 46 Assam Rifles on November 13 with arms and explosives, near Sialsih village on Indo-Myanmar road in Manipur.

The wanted terrorists are:-
S/S  Lt. Col. Chaoyai alias Pukhrambam Mani Meetei (46 years) of Seraou Mayai Leikai, Kakching District, Manipur.

S/S Lt. Col. Sagolsem Inaocha of Kakwa Naorem Leikai, PS-Singjamei, Imphal West, Manipur
Rs. 8 lakh

S/S Lt. Sanatomba, Tentha Village, District-Thoubal, Manipur
Rs. 6 lakh

S/S Lt. Khaba of Either Khurai Area, PS-Porompat or Andro Area, Manipur
Rs. 4 lakh

S/S Lt. Khwairakpa, of Bashikhong Area, Imphal East, Manipur
Rs. 4 lakh
