Noida Police arrests teacher, books school authorities for assaulting child with special needs

New Delhi, March 31
The Noida Police booked four people, including the principal, vice-principal and teacher, of a private school in Noida for allegedly hurting and assaulting a 10-year-old student with special needs.
The police following an investigation have also arrested the teacher.
The police had registered an FIR against the principal, vice-principal, teacher and staff member of the school under sections 115(2) voluntarily causing hurt and 352 (insult) of the BNS, relevant sections of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and sections of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
The administration had also sealed the school after it was found to be allegedly running unauthorised.
