Noida school girl harassment, girl was asked to kiss, give sexual threats, Noida Police books five minor school boys

New Delhi, October 16

The Noida Police have registered an FIR against five students of a premier school in Noida for allegedly sexually harassing and threatening a minor girl on the campus. 

As per the case details, the victim had written two complaints to the school’s principal and director but no action was taken. After her complaints, the accused had even thrashed her on the campus and threatened to kill her. The girl's father filed a written complaint to police and also alleged that he had also named school authorities however the police did't include their names in the FIR. 

The police have collected CCTV footage from the campus and recording statements of the persons concerned. 

The police in their FIR have booked five students, all minors, was registered under sections 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 352 (assault or criminal force otherwise than on grave provocation), 354A (sexual harassment), and 506 (criminal intimidation). 

As per the details that have emerged, the girl gave a complaint to the principal on October 9, the girl wrote mentioning that she is being sexually harassing and the accused used vulgar slang while her classmates laughed along. The e-mail was copied to three faculty members as well as the director of the school.

She wrote another email next day to the school director stating that she was called to their table and was asked to kiss by (accused no. 1) multiple times regardless of saying NO and when asked to stop and the accused also demanded sexual activities with his friends. She was later catcalled and brutally harassed. The accused boys made remarks while referring to her body parts. The accused also made sexual threats while his male classmates mocked her. 

On Otcober 13, the accused assaulted her and threatened to kill her after she wrote two emials to the scool authorities. The father of the girl told media that inspuite of speaking to the pricipal several times, the authorities ensured just an inquiry and no action was taken on the accused at all.
