Nuh Violence- Haryana Police arrests another person for his social media posts

New Delhi, September 5

The Haryana Police in nuh have arrested a man from Meoli village in connection with social media posts related to the July 31 violence whcih is the second arrest in the case. 

The accused was identified as Shahid who posted videos and screenshots on Facebook. 

The Nuh cybercrime cell found Shahid's posts and details while probing the case and scanning all social media accounts that played a role during the violence. 

The police found his profile in the name Shahi and the URL concealed its true identity online. On July 31, during the jala abhishek yatra, this account incited (violence) among various groups based on religious beliefs, spread indecent content, used abusive language, or offended religious sentiments, and disrupted public peace through various Facebook posts and videos dated July 31, the police stated. 

The accused was booked under IPC sections 153, 153A, 295A, 298, 504, 109, 292, and 11C
