More than 40 schools in Delhi received hoax bomb threats via e-mail. The Delhi Police found nothing suspicious after extensive checked and found that it was hoax.
The police stated fhat e-mails sent at around 11.30 pm on December 8 said that bombs were planted on the school campuses and also demanded an amount of $30,000 to stop the explosions.
The police are currently trying to identify the sender and efforts are also underway to ascertain the IP location
Recently, two CRPF schools in Delhi and one in Hyderabad, received bomb threats via e-mail. Several CRPF schools across the nation had received similar threats.
On October 20, a low intensity blast took place near a CRPF school in Rohini. No casualties or injuries were reported.
A pro-Khalistani group claimed responsibility for the blast on Telegram, prompting Delhi Police to reach out to the social media app, requesting details about the channel from where the post originated.
