Police Training School Dwarka imparted training in unarmed and close combat systems to policemen

New Delhi, July 30

The Police Training School Dwarka conducted combat training for policemen through team of M/s I-Confida Sevices Pvt Ltd of Noida. 

The training was conducted in unarmed combat and close combat system” for the outdoor trainers, a specially designed course. 

Unarmed Tactical Combat training methodology uses Proximate Use of Force (PUF) to deal and response wherein firearms cannot be discharged or are otherwise useless at close range.  This also provides systematic thinking and efficient operations within law enforcement or close protection milieus. 

26 police personnel of drill staff including four female assistant drill instructors of Police Training School, Dwarka, and Wazirabad have been trained. 

70 recruit constables of Batch No. 116 were also trained in this programme. 

The Dwarka Police Training School officials stated that with the participants learnt to 

Defend all kinds of unarmed attacksTake down resisting adversaries, defend against multiple attackers, use pain compliance to control resisting adversaries, defend edged weapon attacks, use joint manipulations to control resisting adversaries, defend blunt weapon attacks anduse environment to defend against attackers

The team that imparted training to policemen included Jaikant Singh, NSDC – Head, World Skills India and State Government Engagement, Tahsin Zahid, CEO, SPEFL-SC, Lt. Col. Sanjay Panwar, Head, Self Defense, SPEFL-SC andAnuj Panwar, MD, M/s I-Confida Services Pvt. Ltd.
