Speeding school bus rams into a SUV on Delhi-Meerut Expressway, six dead, two injured

New Delhi, July 11

Six people were killed after the SUV they were travelling in collided with a school bus in on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

The police arrested the driver of the school bus, who was driving on the wrong side of the road. The bus belonged to Bal Bharti School in Noida. 

The victims are residents of Meerut who were on their way to Gurugram. Six persons died on the spot while two injured were rushed to the hospital. 

Two other people, who were also in the SUV, were admitted to a hospital in a serious condition, the police said.

The police stated that the accident took place in the morning hours. There was a head-on collision between these two vehicles. The bus driver had gone to Delhi, he was coming from the wrong side after filling CNG from Ghazipur in Delhi. .
