Two youngster from Hyderabad die after falling off a flyover
The rider rammed the bike into the median; both were flung in the air by the impact and fell on the road beneath the flyover
New Delhi, August 3
Two young men were killed on Monday when their speeding bike crashed into the median of the Kothaguda flyover in Hyderabad.
The impact caused the bike to hit the flyover's edge, flinging the riders onto the road below.
The deceased were identified as K Rohith (27) and Bala Prasanna (26), who were travelling from Botanical Garden towards Hafizpet when the accident occurred.
Rohith was driving while Prasanna was the pillion rider, police added.
The police stated that Rohith rammed the bike into the median. Both youngsters were flung in the air by the impact and fell on the road beneath the flyover. They were shifted to a hospital in a critical condition and succumbed while undergoing treatment, police said.
The police shifted the bodies to Osmania Hospital for autopsy and took up investigation.
