Woman driver allegedly misbehaves with ITBP personnel in Sarai Kale Khan

The ITBP bus driver honked to alert a car ahead, which was being driven erratically, raising suspicion of intoxication : ITBP

New Delhi, March 6

In a viral video, a woman was seen arguing with personnel of Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) when she was stopped for driving her car in reckless manner. 

The ITBP issued a statement stating the incident occurred on February 20 around 22:30 hrs near Sarai Kale Khan underpass, when ITBP personnel were returning from security duty at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

As per available information, the ITBP bus driver honked to alert a car ahead, which was being driven erratically, raising suspicion of intoxication. Instead of giving way, the woman reportedly blocked the bus for some distance. 

The Delhi Traffic Police intervened, stopped the car, and questioned the woman. The ITBP driver remained composed and did not engage in any argument, officials added. 

ITBP personnel conducted themselves in a disciplined manner throughout the incident, the force maintained.
