YSR's youth leader hacked to death in Andhra Pradesh

The police suspect personal rivalry behind the incident that was witnessed by passerby on road

New Delhi, July 18

A youth leader of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress party was hacked to death.

The police stated that the incident happened in the middle of a street in Palnadu district when it was crowded. 

The victim was identified as Rashid who was found on the road covered in blood. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to the injuries later.

The primary probe suggest a personal rivalry is believed to be the motive behind the gruesome murder. The police have taken a video into account where the incident was captured and scanning CCTv and more in the area to trace the accused. 

The police have also banned large gatherings and deployed more personnel in the area who are collecting details on the incident.
