Bomb given to Haryana CM office, Udyog Bhawan, all hoax

New Delhi, May 30
A bomb threat was allegedly sent to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's office. Tje Chandigarh police have sprung to action.
The police states that information was received at around 3:15 pm that there could be a bomb in the office building.
The secretariat premises were vacated after receiving the bomb threat. Bomb disposal squads and dog squads have also arrived at the Secretariat and the Chief Minister's residence and are inspecting the area.
A fire brigade and an ambulance are also present at the office.
Meanwhile, Udyog Bhawan in Delhi also received an e-mail threatening to blow up the premises. The e-mail addressed to the Secretary of the Ministry of Heavy Industries claimed that suicide IEDs would be used inside the Udyog Bhawan premises.
Following the threat, an alert was issued to evacuate the building and take necessary.
The bomb threat comes a day before the mock drill as security agencies are scheduled to conduct a security drill on the evening of May 31, across districts bordering Pakistan.
The drill exercise, which was initially postponed, will take place in Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir, with the aim of enhancing preparedness and ensuring awareness in regions vulnerable to cross-border threats.
