New Delhi, March 22
In a colourful Passing Out Parade of 111 PSIs and 17 recruited constables of Goa Police passed out of Delhi Police Academy.
97 male and 14 female constables of Batch-51, and 17 Constables Batch No.1 of Goa police were getting trained at the DPA.
Around 1,000 spectators including family members from Goa, guests, trainees & senior officers witnessed this colourful passing out parade.
DGP Goa Jaspal Singh was the Chief Guest of the event and took the salute of marching contingents of trainees.
Asif Mohd. Ali, Joint Director and Jitender Mani, Deputy Director, Admn, Uma Shankar, Deputy Director, Training were among other officers of DPA were also present during the Passing out Parade.
Amongst these trainees, 21 PSIs are BA, 04-BBA, 36-B.Com, 19-B.E., 01-B.HM, 11-B.Sc. 04-BCA, 04-MA, 01-MBA, 01-MCA, 5-M.Com and 04 are M.SC showcasing the academic level of new entrants to the force.
During their basic training in the academy, they have been trained in Indoor as well as Outdoor subjects. Apart from Law subjects and Police Procedures, they have also been taught in wide spectrum of subjects viz. Organization and Administration, Computer Science, Cyber-Crime, Police Behaviour, Social Groups and Police Investigation etc. Their Outdoor Training comprised of ririgorous Physical Training, Parade, Drill, Yoga, Sports, Weapon Training, Unarmed Combat, Anti-terrorist measures, Field Craft & Tactics, Crowd Control, Motor Driving skills and Wireless Communication. These trainees have also been trained to deal witht terrorism related and riot related incidents by using latest techniques.
DGP Goa, Jaspal Singh congratulated the trainees on completion of their basic training and insisted on use of modern technology. He praised the zeal and enthusiasm of all these trainees and advised them to learn the field working sincerely after joining duties.
He thanks Delhi Police especially Sanjay Arora, CP Delhi for putting in so much efforts and imparting outstanding training to Goa Police officers. He advised the trainees to follow ethics, moral values and knowledge in their duties that were imparted to them during training. He urged them to make it an endeavour to make Goa Police, the best in the nation.
The Chief Guest motivated the trainees to gain further knowledge of the 03 New Criminal Laws emphasizing that they will be implemented at the start of their career. He also urged the trainees to enhance their professional skills about Cyber Laws, Cyber Crimes & Street crimes. He also asked them to devote themselves towards police services and be sensitive to Crimes occurring against women & children and have an empathetic attitude towards the migrants.

SI Sudan Siddappa Bhosle for Best in Firing.

SI Sashanka Parab for All Round Best and Best in Indoor subjects
