MHA transfers 26 IPS officers in Delhi Police, shifted to other union territories

New Delhi, May 17

The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred 26 IPS officers from Delhi including some senior officers. 

B Shanker Jaiswal Joint Commissioner of Police (Central Range) has been sent to Lakshadweep. Joint Commissioner Keshav Ram Chaurasia has been shifted to Goa. He had held the charge of joint commissioner in the Economic Offences Wing in Delhi.

Devesh Kumar Mahla, New Delhi District DCP, and Surendra Choudhary, South West District DCP, have been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. Apoorva Gupta, who was DCP (Crime), has been transferred to Andaman and Nicobar.

12. Apoorva Gupta (IPS: 2013) has been transferred from Delhi to A&NI.

13. Sharad Bhaskar Darade (IPS: 2013) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.

14. A K Lal (IPS: 2013) has been transferred from DNH&DD to Puducherry.

15. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav (IPS: 2013) has been transferred from J&K to Delhi.

16. Mahesh Kumar Barnwal (IPS: 2014) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.

17. Rohit Rajbir Singh (IPS: 2015) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.

18. Anant Mittal (IPS: 2015) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.

19. Sandeep Gupta (IPS: 2015) has been transferred from J&K to Delhi.
