New Delhi, October 28
A grand passing out parade of gazetted officers of Commandant (Direct Recruitment) Batch No. 45 was organized at Border Security Force Academy Tekanpur.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, Director General Border Security Force was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. Laltendu Mohti, (I.P.S.) ADG/Director Border Security Force Academy Tekanpur Gwalior and senior officers from Dabra besides other senior officers of BSF Academy, subordinate officers, other ranks, family members of trainees and media personnel were also present.
In this Passing out parade, a total of 61 trainee gazetted officers took an oath of constitution to dedicate themselves to maintain the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
The BSF stated that under the able guidance of the training team of Border Security Force Academy Tekanpur, these officers have been enabled to defend and secure the borders of the country by heating like steel in the furnace of intensive training in various subjects for 53 weeks.
The officials said that during the training, visits have also been made to the borders of different frontiers of the country so that their personality can be developed, character building and leadership ability can be developed.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest first paid tribute to the martyrs by paying floral tributes to the Ajay Prahari memorial. After reaching the parade ground, he inspected the parade and distributed trophies to the following trainee officers who came first in different areas:-
Sword of Honor (All Round Best) -Ritu, Assistant Commandant
Home Minister Trophy (Best in Outdoor Training) - Ritu, Assistant Commandant
Director's Trophy (1st in Shooting) - Ritu, Assistant Commandant
Director General Trophy (1st in Internal Training)- Ranjit Singh, Assistant Commandant
Director Baton Trophy (1st in Drill)-Ashutosh Gautam, Assistant Commandant.
It is worth mentioning here that winning a total of three trophies including the Sword of Honor (All Round Best) by the female trainee officer Ritu Assistant Commandant shows that women are also not less than men in any field, and can contribute significantly to the security of the country.
The Chief Guest, in his address, greatly appreciated the parade and congratulated the Chief Instructors of the Academy and their training team, who have transformed the young officers from an ordinary person to a capable leader. He also thanked the father as well as the mother of the trainee officers very much, who has dedicated his young children to the service of the country.
In addition to this, a spectacular band show, dog show, horse show and motor cycle "Janwaz" show were organized by the BSF for the entertainment of the parents and spectators present, which were greatly enjoyed by the people.
