Body of a young woman with burn marks on private parts found in Dwarka

A body of a woman with brun marks on her forehead and private parts was found in a drain in Dabri of Dwara in Delhi lying in the roadside.
The police shifted the body for autopsy where the doctor's confirmed burn marks on her private parts suspecting that the woman has been raped and killed. However, the police are waiting for the autopsy report to confirm rape.
The police are yet to identify the woman's credentials.
The police added that a passer-by had spotted the woman’s body in the drain near the CNG fuel pump of Dabri sector 2, and called the control room at 6.03 pm.
The officials said that when the police teams reached there, they found the woman’s body was covered with a cloth, which seemed like a green bedsheet usually used in government hospitals. There were burn marks on her forehead and private parts.
The police suspect that she was assaulted, beaten to death and then her body was dumped.
The police have begun searching for the woman's identity from the records of missing women in the area. The police are also scanning CCTV footages to identify the accused.
