BSF seizes two drones from Indo Pak border in Amritsar, Fazilka districts

The force seized one one assembled Quadcopter drone and one DJI Mavic drone

New Delhi, January 24

The Border Security Force (BSF) seized two drones at the Indo Pak border from districts of Amritsar and Fazilka. 

The BSF stated that a search culminated led to the recovery of one DJI Mavic Classic 3 from a farming field adjacent to village - Rattan Khurd in district Amritsar.

During joint search with punjab police, party recovered one assembled Quadcopter drone from a farming field adjacent to village Wala Hitter in district Fazilka.

The officials added that a robust technical counter measures deployed on border and diligent efforts of BSF troops with punjab police thwarted yet more smuggling attempts and intrusions of illicit drones from across the border.
