The Border Security Force (BSF troops, with active coordination from their intelligence wing, successfully recovered two drones and one packet of suspected heroin in a single day from different locations along the border areas of Amritsar.
The force seized one DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone was recovered by the BSF troops at about 12:20 pm from farming field adjacent to village- Dhanoe Khurd in district Amritsar.
The force also seized 1 packet of suspected heroin (440 grams) from farming field adjacent to village- Bharopal in district Amritsar.
On the same day, another drone, DJI Mavic 3 Classic was recovered by alert BSF troops on duty at about 04:25 pm from a farming field adjacent to the village Dhanoe Khurd in district Amritsar.
These significant recoveries highlights the BSF's commitment to prevent any illicit movement of Pakistani drones alongwith heroin consignment from across the border, thus decimating the desperate attempts of cross border narco-syndicates, added BSF.
