CBI arrests MTS of MCD Delhi in bribery case

New Delhi, December 21
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended an accused MTS of MCD, Badarpur Delhi for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 80,000 from the complainant.
The CBI registered a case on the basis of complaint against accused MTS of MCD, Badarpur, Delhi on allegations that accused demanded bribe from complainant for not demolishing, construction and renovation work in his house.
A trap laid by CBI and accused MTS of MCD was caught red handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 80,000 from the complainant, officials added.
