CBI arrests one from Qanoongo office in J&K for bribery
The agency conducted searches at residential and official premises of the accused which led to recovery of Rs.3.71 lakhs of cash and other documents
New Delhi, May 30
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has one from accused from Qanoongo office in Jammu and Kashmir for accepting bribe.
A case was registered by CBI against the accused Office Qanoongo, in Ramban, J&K on allegations that accused demanded a bribe from the complainant for processing his application for land settlement.
The CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs.18000/- from the complainant.
