Delhi Police arrest a woman, aides for running an extortion racket by filing fake rape cases

The Delhi Police busted an extortion group that used to get FIRs registered with the allegations of gang rape. 

The Dwarka district had received complaint of a woman at Dwarka South in which there were allegations of rape after which a case under Sections 328/376D/506 of the IPC was registered. 

During investigation, complainant provided a voter ID card with her name as her address proof but reluctant to show her address which was suspicious therefore a local enquiry was conducted and found it wrong. Under suspicion, Voter ID card of complainant got verified from Election Commission and found forged.  

During further investigation, all the accused persons of rape case namely Jitender alias Bhagat Ji, Krishan Pal alias Guru Ji and Krishan driver were interrogated about the incident. Keeping in the view the interrogation of accused persons, suspicion grew strong and CDR, CAF and location of all the accused persons and complainant was called on which it was found that accused persons didn’t come to Delhi and never visited Dwarka or place of incident. On analysing the CDR of complainant, it was found that even complainant never visited the place of incident, officials said. 

When the police checked the mobile number which was used by her is registered in the name of RK and when she was asked about the same she didn’t give any satisfactory answer. Her CDR was further analysed and on analysis a new fact came into notice that she got another FIR of gang rape registered at Seemapuri with the name of RK.

The police found that the woman had registered similar gang rape case at PS Kundli, Sonepat, Haryana. 

During investigation, it was found that another lady (name not disclosed) and many more persons are also involved in the sextortion group. The police seized the forged ID cards from the woman.
