Delhi Police arrests director Sanoj Mishra for rape of Bollywood aspirant

The Delhi Police arrested director Sanoj Mishra on charges of rape and forcing abortions of the victim wile threatening her.
Sanoj Mishra was recently in news for reportedly offering a movie to viral Mahakumbh girl ‘Monalisa’.
The police said the accused is married and resides with his family in Mumbai.
The complainant registered a First Information Report (FIR) at Nabi Karim police station in Central Delhi under sections of rape, assault, causing miscarriage, and threatening.
Thr accused was in a live-in relationship with the complainant in Mumbai for the past four years. She alleged that she was forced to undergo abortion thrice. She has alleged in the FIR that on February 18, the accused brought her to a hotel in Nabi Karim and made physical relations with her, officials said.
During the investigation, medical papers related to abortion were collected from Muzaffarnagar. Delhi High Court has also rejected his bail application, police added.
