Delhi Police was honored with the Best Marching Contingent Trophy for its outstanding performance during the Republic Day Parade 2025.
Sanjay Seth, Raksha Rajya Mantri (Minister of State for Defence), presented the awards to the best marching contingents and tableaus, recognizing their exceptional discipline, coordination, and performance during the parade.
The Best Marching Contingent Trophy was received by Delhi Police senior officers: Neeraj Thakur, IPS (Special CP/Armed Police Division), M.N. Tiwari, IPS (Jt. CP/Armed Police), Dr. Rakesh Bansal, IPS (Addl. CP/Armed Police), Krishan Kumar (DCP/4th Battalion), Rishi Kumar Singh, IPS, Addl. DCP (Parade Commander), Bhagwati Prasad (ACP/4th Battalion) and Inspector Ramesh Tushir (CDI/4th Battalion, DAP)
Following the ceremony, Sanjay Arora, IPS, Delhi CP invited the contingent members to his office, where he personally congratulated them for their outstanding performance and dedication. He praised their commitment to maintaining high standards of discipline and professionalism and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the entire contingent.
