Hyderabad police arrest two drug traffickers with 13.5 kgs of hashish oil

The accused were reportedly transporting hash oil from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha to Bengaluru, using Hyderabad as a transit hub

New Delhi, August 13

The Hyderabad Police have arrested two people for peddling drugs and seized 13.5 kilograms of hashish oil worth Rs 1.08 crore. 

The accused were identified as Vanchurba Konda Babu, 30, and Vanchurba Balakrishna, 20, both involved in interstate drug trafficking.

The accused were reportedly transporting hash oil from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha to Bengaluru, using Hyderabad as a transit hub. 

In a similar incident in July, seven persons were held including including three foreign nationals in Hyderabad where police had seized drugs worth Rs 1 crore near Banjara Hills. The suspects were found with 100 grams of cocaine, 300 grams of MDMA, and five mobile phones.

The police are still searching for the receiver in the hashish oil case.
