LG transfers three senior IPS officers in Delhi Police

New Delhi, March 16

The Lieutenant Governor Delhi transferred three Special Commissioners of Police in Delhi Police to new posts. 

Special CP Robin Hibu has been transferred from the Armed Unit and moved to Vigilance department. 

The 1993 batch IPS officer Robin Hibu is credited with doing notable and impactful work in the Armed Unit by introducing an all women pipe band, an all women brass band with the girls of North Eastern Region of the country. 

The women contingent led by additional DVP Shweta Sugathan also won the judges award in all contingents parade at the Republic day this year. 

DGP Hibu is credited with setting up many administrative initiatives for the benefit of police men like high end banquet for the policemen inside the Kingsway Camp police lines, a hospital and several other measures that aides the policemen and their families. 

The 1991 batch senior woman IPS officer, Special CP Nuzhat Hasan who was Special CP Vigilance has been appointed as Special CP Economic Offences Wing. 

Special CP Hasan is one of the senior IPS officers of Delhi Police who handled various posts. 

Special CP Ajay Chaudhary has been transferred as Special CP Armed Unit with additional charge of Special Unit for Women And Children and Special Unit for North East Range.
