Low intensity blast witnessed in Ludhiana court

New Delhi, June 9

A low-intensity explosion was reported in the district court complex of Ludhiana in Punjab that led to panic in the court. 

The Ludhiana police rushed to the spot and inspected the area alongwith the bomb disposal squad and dog squad. 

The police found out that the blast took place after a sweeper had put a pile of garbage on fire that had glass bottles in it. The police informed that there was no foul play behind it. 

In December 2021, a powerful explosion had taken place in Ludhiana district court that had killed one person and left six persons injured. The blast case is being probed by National investigation Agency after the police found terror groups behind.
