The Maharashtra Police has roped in National Digital Crime Resource and Training Centre (NDCRTC) to train their officers in advanced cybercrimes.
The officers receiving the training from NDCRTC will further impart training to other officers in their own district or commissionerates. The first batch of the training of 25 police officers took place at the Maharashtra Police Academy in Nashik.
The officers who are good in cyber investigation were selected in the first batch to undergo the training. This training will help us deal with more advanced types of cybercrime that need more than a basic level of cyber training that is given in police stations to deal with cases of cheating.
