MHA promotes five senior IPS officers of Delhi Police to the DGP rank

New Delhi, July 8

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has promoted five senior IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre in Delhi Police to the rank of Director General of Police.

In an order issued on July 7 by the MHA,  the senior officers Dependra Pathak, Nuzhat Hasan, Sanjay Singh, Mukesh Kumar Meena and Sanjay Kumar Gautam have been promoted as DGP .

Senior IPS officer of 1990 batch, Dependra Pathak is Special Commissioner (Law&Order), 1991 batch IPS officer, Nuzhat Hasan is Special Commissioner, 1990 batch IPS officer while Sanjay Singh is heading the Licensing Branch. 

The order also mentioned that 1990 batch IPS officer Tajendra Singh Luthra and 1991 batch officer  Dr. Vivek Gogia who are on central deputation have also been given proforma promotion to the rank of DGP.
