The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) trasnferred 13 IPS officers bringing in some old officers of the national capital back to Delhi Police.
Senior IPS officer Aslam Khan from the 2007 batch is back to Delhi from Goa. Aslam Khan served in Delhi Police for several years as deputy commissionaer of police before she was trasnferred to Goa.
In 2016, Aslam Khan garnered attention for her distinctive name and an impactful speech delivered on International Women’s Day. She is also known for her generosity when she aided a truck driver's family in Delhi who was murdered. She provided financial support to the family that was dependent on the Jammu truck driver who was killed in Delhi.
Another IPS officer who won hearts of several citizens with his challenging journey of beating cancer, Nidhin Valsan has been also transferred back to Delhi Police. Valsan has been an inspration to many after he beat third stage cancer while serving in Goa Police.
Younng IPS offcer Shweta K Sugathan who led the women contingent of Delhi Police on Republic Day has been tranferred to Andaman and Nicobar police.
Senior IPS officers Vivek Kishore has been transferrd to Arunachal Pradesh while Sindhu Pillai who was Special CP (EOW) has been moved to Andaman and Nicobar Police. Dheeraj Kumar and Dr. Ajit Kumar Singla have been transferred to Mizoram and Puducherry respectively.
While Asif Mohd Ali has been brought back to Delhi from Arunachal Pradesh, Chinmoy Biswal hasas been transferred to Arunahcla Pradesh. Similarly, Ingit Pratap Singh has been also movd to Arunachal Pradesh police while Abhishek Dhania has been beought back to Delhi.
Two IPS officers from Arunachal Pradesh-Rohit Rajbir Singh and Rahul Gupta have been moved to Goa Police. Anayat Ali Chowdhary has moved from Ladakh to Jammu and Kashmir, Shiv Kumar from J&K to Ladakh police while Kalaivanan R has been tranferred from Andaman and Nicobar to Puducherry.
